Hey Fab People!!! My fave season is finally here and I'm ecstatic! Fall means boots, blazers, layers and cutesy jackets! As with every season in the fashion world there are trends- some we will follow some we just say "on to the next" LOL Well I'm going to give a brief rundown of five of fall's 2010 trends and which ones I will def play up! Enjoy!
- The Riding Boot~ The riding boot is chic and comfortable. These boots can take you from brunch to a lil retail therapy at the mall. With several different styles and colors its hard to go wrong with this effortless boot. Being a lover of flat boots in the fall, I purchased a pair from Vince Camuto who makes very chic and feminine boot. They came yesterday and this is my first time wearing anything from this designer so I will be sure to give my full review once I wear them.

- Faux Fur- Because we would NEVER EVER wear
real fur! I think this is my 2nd favorite trend of 2010. Faux Fur will have you uber-glamorous for less, its fun and playful yet can be sexy and sophisticated. The thought of faux fur years ago was a huge NO NO!But thanks to the tumbling economy and PETA (lol) faux fur is a this season MUST HAVE! This year faux fur is all over the runway and I cant wait to find the perfect "fur something". I think because I never did any type of fur I'm going to try out a vest. Below are some of my faves!

- Military Fashion~ I know first thoughts are probably AGAIN? Nothing new, we are just embracing it more this fall in a different style. Army green is THEE color followed by navy and a key piece is a great coat or jacket...think aviator! One tip with the military look please AVOID camouflage, that's not the look we are trying to give here. Anyway you look at it Military Fashion can give you sexy and edginess. Another look I can not wait to play in! And don't forget your little fashionista, I found some cutesy styles for the little divas as well!

- The Velvet Dress~ Not one of my faves,so I wont spend too much on this one. I can say it is safe to wear and explore. Holidays are right around the corner and velvet to me screams Christmas Dinner, but to avoid looking like an older woman avoid boring colors with no textures or asymmetrical shapes.
|
As much as I love Mrs. O, this is not the look a velvet dress should be giving you, unless it is a formal affair but then in that case go with another fabric it because you will give an old lady vibe. |
Look for a one shoulder, puff sleeve or strapless to avoid that boring granny look! Another tip, just keep it simple no bold busy prints! Definitely would keep this a seasonal item totally not an investment piece.

The Thigh High Boot- Super Sexy! They take you from day to night to late late night - if your wearing the wrong color. Short and simple- avoid Patent Leather at all cost and Flavored Thigh high boots. Wearing those two will get you the wrong type of attention, total HoeVibe-ish! Stick with Black, Charcoal Grey or Shades of Brown and Chocolate.
